AT THE TRACK....
Karmageddon finishes 2nd in the 100K Ms Woodford Stakes August 28 at Monmouth Park. My Irish Girl won by two ever decreasing lengths over the hard charging Karmageddon in running the six furlongs in 1:10 2/5. It was the seventh straight win for the three year old filly. Karma paid $25.80 to place and $10.00 to show for her backers.

Pinelands Pete won in a 47K New Jersey Bred allowance race going 6 furlongs in 1:10 2/5 on the last day of the 2010 Monmouth Park meet. With the victory- his fourth, the speedy Petey has bankrolled $107,460 in 14 starts.

Beacon Beach-- was claimed from us near the end of the 2010 Monmouth Park meet. The gelded son of Straight Man, Beacon always tried hard for us and we wish his new owners good luck with him in the future. So far this year,he has earned over $55,000. His career earnings now stand at over $173,000.
Dropkick Murphy-- The seven-year-old gelding is now privately owned by two HHRS partners who have retired him from racing. Currently,Murphy is begrudgingly learning how to jump over rails at a farm in Howell Township, N.J..
Spicy McHaggis-- After losing Spicy in a claiming race at the end of 2009,she was claimed back by two terrific Headless Horsemen Partners who had fallen in love with her.The good looking mare is now in foal to Gators N Bears who was a multiple graded stakes sprint specialist. Spicy, whose dam was our own stakes winning mare Dare to Cope,is currently relaxing at beautiful Bright View Farm here in New Jersey.
The Next Generation

Headless Horsemen Racing was very excited to welcome into the world this past spring,a gray/roan Smoke Glacken filly. As we have been watching her grow up,we have come to learn that this filly, along with being one of the fastest weanlings in the Mid Atlantic region, she has personality PLUS. The farm favorite, she always puts a smile on everyone's face when she has visitors. Her dam is back in foal to one of America's leading sires of 2 year olds,Offlee Wild.
We are optimistic about our future crop of babies - we are currently looking for another nice racemare who is in foal- so for those interested in the breeding game, please feel free to contact us and be a part of a unique and rewarding breeding partnership.
HHRS retiree HMS Jackson is at a farm in Upperville Virginia where he is enjoying the good life and being spoiled rotten by all the kids in the area.
