This is to inform you of an opportunity to be a part of the most exciting two minutes in sports - a thoroughbred horse race! This opportunity will be through participation in a partnership with the purpose of purchasing and racing thoroughbred racehorses.
Currently, HHRS is putting together partnerships for claiming horses, private purchases, and yearling purchases.
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR NEW PARTNERS FOR RACING PARTNERSHIPS.
One of HHRS's management goals is to enable investors to enjoy the excitement and pride of thoroughbred horse ownership without breaking the bank. This doesn't mean we claim $3,500 claimers that are on their way down. We look for value in our purchases. We are not the kind of group that will be putting together "high rollers" and spend a million dollars on a yearling. What we offer are a variety of partnership opportunities, with varying levels of investment and varying levels of speculation.
Picture this... It's 7:00am. You accompany your trainer, exercise rider and your thoroughbred on the quiet walk from stable to racetrack. The early morning sun has begun to burn off the mist and you're are on the backstretch, gazing across the infield at the majestic Monmouth Park grandstand. With coffee in hand you take in the backstretch sounds of pounding hooves and the snorts and whinny's of 1200 lb. equine athletes as they breeze under their jockey's handling. Trainer's directions, owner's murmured comments, and the comaradarie of jockeys and exercise riders complete the ambience as you watch your pride and joy thunder past you during a morning workout. Later, back at the stable, while your horse is "hotwalked" you converse and plan strategy in expectation of your horse's next chance at victory.
Investment in a thoroughbred race horse is not for the conservative or the faint of heart. You are buying a chance, a dream, a hope. If you are looking for a guaranteed return on your money - this is not the place to be.
We have been involved in claiming, purchasing, and racing for the past nine years and look forward to an exciting year in 2008. We feel that we have put together an excellent team. On the management side, we are active and dedicated horsemen who are in frequent contact with our trainers and other resources in the business in the effort to put our horses and thus our fellow partners in the best position to win.
On the training side the names speak for themselves. In Florida, and at Monmouth Park and the Meadowlands we are privileged to be able to utilize Mr. Bruce Alexander as our trainer. He is consistently in the upper tier of trainer rankings. We are impressed with Bruce's hands on approach to training and we are looking forward to a great year.
We use a several training centers and trainers for our yearlings and two-year olds. Among these Tim Woolley at the Fair Hills Training Center in Maryland. Tim started his throughbred training activities with Breeder's Cup winner Michael Dickinson when Dickinson was in England. Tim has extraordinary experience and skills in the assessment and training of young horses.
